By Danetta Barker As of Monday afternoon several people had filed for the upcoming primary election in Fleming County. The jailer’s race is still the most sought after with 10 candidates filed. The Fleming County Fiscal Court set the pay at $28,000 per year for the position. According to County Clerk Jarrod Fritz the following have filed for office: County Surveyor, Travis McGlone. Magistrates District 1, Douglas Bowling-D, Chris Hickerson-D. District 2, David DeAtley-R, R. Elizabeth Hester-D; District 3, John Sims Jr.-D, Kenneth Souder –D; District 4 James Smoot-D, Donna Allen-D; District 5, Ricky Lewis-D, Mike Savey-D; District 6, Allen Argo-D, Greg Myers-D, Ray H. Money-D. Constable District 6, Albert Gray-D Judge-Executive, Larry H. Foxworthy-R; Stevie Call-D; Tim Stamper-R; Patrick E. Price-D. PVA, Connie Crain-D, Bob Gossett-R.
