Mr. Davis Eli Wayne Davis, 82, of Flemingsburg died Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2010, in Flemingsburg. He was born in Fleming County on Nov. 19, 1927, to the late Maude Mae Calvert Davis and Charles F. Davis. He is survived by his wife, Lillian Earlywine Davis. Mr. Davis was a retired G.C.Murphy employee and also employed at Valley View Service Station and Green Valley Tire. He is survived by two sons, Lowell Dean (Linda) Davis of Fort Pierce, Fla. and Robert W. (Cassidy) Davis of Mount Sterling; two daughters, Linda (Charles) Brazell of Atlanta, Ga., and Susan Kimberly (Hal) Busby of Birmingham, Ala.; two brothers, Jack Davis of Michigan, and Bobby Davis of Fleming County; two sisters, Betty Manning and Anna L. Doyle, both of Flemingsburg; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son, Larry Davis; five brothers, Elmer Davis, Marion Davis, Earl Sam Davis, John Davis and Raymond Davis; and one sister, Margaret Barbour. Services were. Thursday, Aug. 26, 2010 at the Denton-Workman Funeral Home, Flemingsburg. Rev. James Ray Hickerson officiated. Burial followed in the Maysville Cemetery, with military honors.

Mrs. Marshall Delphia Marshall, 87, of Flemingsburg, died Monday, Aug. 16, 2010, in Flemingsburg. Mrs. Marshall was born Jan. 7, 1923, in Greenup County, the daughter of the late Cordelia and Jasper Johnson. She was a housewife, farmer and a member of the Flemingsburg Baptist Church for more than 50 years. She was the widow of Omar Marshall. Survivors include two sons, Auston (Marjorie) Marshall of Richmond, and Mike Marshall of Flemingsburg; a daughter, Kay (Ray) Fox of Fleming County; a daughter-in-law, Bonnie Marshall of Maysville; six grandchildren, Cyndi Manz, Keith (Sherry) Marshall, Jackie (Judy) Marshall, Leroy Marshall, Michelle Wylie and Travis (Krystal) Marshall; nine great-grandchildren, Willie Manz, Mikaela Manz, Colby Marshall, Dean Marshall, Noah Marshall, Michelle Watson, Julia Combs, Scoti Marshall-Mitchell and Maya Marshall; and a great-great-granddaughter, Kayleigh. She was preceded in death by a son, Scottie Marshall; four sisters; and two brothers. Services were 2 p.m., Friday at Denton-Workman Funeral Home with Dr. Chris Beckham officiating. Burial followed in the Fleming County Cemetery.

Ms. Dunaway and Kelly infant Wendy Dawn Humphries Dunaway, age 32, and two-year-old son, Donavin Constintine Vaughn Kelly, of Colfax Road, Hillsboro, passed away Friday, August 20, 2010, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Flemingsburg, Kentucky. Wendy was born July 10, 1978, in Rowan County, Kentucky, daughter of Donald and Margaret Curtis Humphries of Hillsboro, Kentucky. She is also survived by one daughter, Carley Dunaway, at home; one brother, Dusty Dale Humphries and his wife Stacey and their children, Randell, Emily, and Ryan, of Wallingford, Kentucky; one sister, Taylor Humphries of Hillsboro, Kentucky; maternal grandparents, Clyde and Lodema Crawford Curtis of Hillsboro, Kentucky; and paternal grandmother, Gladys Hatfield Humphries of Flemingsburg, Kentucky. Donavin was born January 9, 2008, in Clark County, Kentucky, son of Cody Alan Kelly of Peasticks, Kentucky, and the late Wendy Dawn Humphries Dunaway. In addition to his mother’s family and his father, Donavin is also survived by paternal grandparents, Vinson Clay Kelly and Jackie Valenti Kelly, both of Owingsville, Kentucky. Joint funeral services were conducted 1 p.m. Tuesday, August 24, 2010, at the Hutton Funeral Home with the Rev. Richard Engle and Rev. Mike Burnett officiating. Burial followed in the Fairview Cemetery. Pallbearers were Billy Sapp, Doug Gulley, Ricky Humphries, Darry Burton, Kevin Lee, Travis Fawns, Donnie Fawns, Vinson Kelly, Mike Jones, Mark Doyle, and Joe Dunaway.

Ms. Muse Susan Anna Muse, age 77, passed away Saturday August 14, 2010 at her residence with her family by her side. She was the former Susan Anna Kinder born December 14, 1932 in Mason County to the late Hobart & Mary Kinder. She was preceded in death by her husband Forrest Muse, a son Randy Muse, 2 granddaughters Kristi Dawn Cole and Amy Michele Cole 4 brothers Carlos, Ernest, Robert and Elmer Kinder and a sister Elizabeth Curtis. Mrs. Riley Jean Wilson Riley, 76, of Flemingsburg, died Aug. 12, 2010 in Glasgow. She was born in Fleming County on Jan. 24, 1934, to Molar and Catherine Hysong Wilson. She was a telephone operator for AT&T. Jean was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, James Wilson; and her oldest grandchild, Angela Jean Ray. Surviving is her sister, Shirley (James) Huston of Ewing; three daughters, Carol (Larry) Bellamy of Park City, Debbie (Robert) Barbee of Flemingsburg, and Sandy (Joe) Gebele of Dayton, Ohio; two grandchildren, Tammy Brady of Jupitor, Fla., and Ryan McCormick of Dayton, Ohio; and her beloved great-grandchildren, Adam Ray of Flemingsburg and Seth Ray of Park City, Evan McCormick, Collin McCormick, Cora McCormick and Tahler Robbins, all of Dayton, Ohio. Services were Tuesday at Price Brothers Funeral Home, Elizaville with Rev. Jerry Boling officiating. Burial was in the Elizaville Cemetery.
